This project formed part of a proposal for a TV series of short animations about curious and fun historic facts about Mexico, with the objective of approaching history from a different perspective. Based on a text from Mexican historian Alejandro Rosas.
This animation tells the story of the infamous Volkswagen Beetle and its arrival to Mexico 'the people's car' and the way it slowly but without any doubt became an iconic symbol of Mexico with it's own unique Mexican touch.
